Han Hye Jin backs again in drama series after last year Jejungwoon.She leads the cast of upcoming KBS drama titled The Thorn Birds.The Thorn Birds is heart breaking story of two women who choose different way for their desire.Literally,thorn bird is bird in legend story that throws his body to sharp thorn for the ultimate beautiful voice.And just like the story of legend, the heroine in this drama will sacrifice herself to face and overcome destiny.
Han Hye Jin role is a part-time worker, she gets along with her daily life and faithfully dreams to be a star. Even though she was grown up without knowing her own parents, she lives faithfully dreaming that she can find her own mother when she becomes star.
If Han Hye Jin grabs the heroine role, the drama hero will be played by Joo Sang Wook. This will mark his first ever hero role after his 12 years career and after his success with second lead role in Giant and upcoming Paradise Ranch.
28-year-old Kim Min Jung (2009 Alien Baseball Team) took the second female lead. She’ll play the other girl from orphanage.
The story is written by Lee Sun Hee who wrote Air City, and the PD is Kim Jong Chang who directed Rosy Life and Hateful but Once Again.
